Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), on Friday (November 17), declared apparatuses for the T20I tri-arrangement, including India and Bangladesh, to be played from March 8-20.
The three groups will play two association coordinates each against each other, before the last which will be played on March 20. All amusements will be played at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
Talking about the competition, Rahul Johri, BCCI CEO, included: "We are special to be a piece of Sri Lanka's 70th year festivities, there is no nearer companion to the BCCI than Sri Lanka [and Bangladesh] and when Mr. Sumathipala first skimmed this welcome, there was practically moment understanding that the Indian Team would take an interest thus."
The tri-country arrangement will be played in festivity of Sri Lanka's 70 years of freedom. Called the Nidahas Trophy, it was additionally played in 1998, in festivity of Sri Lanka's 50 years of freedom, likewise SLC's 50 years of origin.
Talking about the event, Thilanga Sumathipala, SLC President, stated: "70 years is a long voyage, and one that should be recognized and celebrated. We are cheerful that our nearest neighbors, who share pretty much a similar trip of freedom are going along with us in this festival, which we accept will be a development and a foreshadow of thegreat things to come in the chronicles of cricket."
Nazmul Hassan Papon, Bangladesh Cricket Board President, included: "The help and commitment of Sri Lanka [and India] in Bangladesh's cricketing excursion couldn't be overemphasized, and that this welcome was a reasonable demonstration of what a decent companion Sri Lanka has been to Bangladesh's Cricket.
"This Tournament as well, would no uncertainty keep on strengthening the bonds between the 3 countries."
